Gucci Beauty aimed to transform their “Gucci Beauty Wishes” holiday campaign from a visual spectacle into a digital shopping experience while retaining its charm and allure. The goal was to immerse visitors in the campaign’s captivating atmosphere, helping them explore a curated selection of makeup and fragrance products, while offering a personalized gift guide for the holiday season.
Inspired by the animated garden scene from the campaign video, MONOGRID designed and developed an interactive, immersive WebGL website divided into two sections for easy navigation. The first section, Gucci Beauty Wishes, is a garden where users can explore and purchase a selection of Gucci Beauty products that bloom like flowers. The second section, Gucci Beauty Gift Guide, is an interactive, gamified area to help visitors find the perfect festive gifts, whether to give or keep.
To ensure a seamless user experience, MONOGRID focused on balancing high-quality 3D visuals with quick load times and smooth interactivity across various devices and platforms. MONOGRID used Three.js for 3D graphics and Vue for UI components, creating a responsive, detail-rich experience. Addressing another critical challenge, MONOGRID made sure the Gucci Beauty Wishes garden could showcase different product catalogs, each tailored for the app, iPad, and various retailer platforms. The experience is accessible through the Gucci mobile app and iPad at select multi-brand stores.
