GREENPEACE – The Nature of Plastic by Cheil

Chile has emerged as the top plastic waste producer in South America. With an annual consumption of 990,000 tonnes of plastic, only 8% of it gets recycled. The detrimental impact of plastic pollution can now be observed across all of Chile’s ecosystems.

We specifically selected five renowned Chilean landscapes to portray the extent of damage caused by this crisis. Each intricate detail was meticulously analyzed and skillfully crafted, resulting in a diverse collection of aerial portraits showcasing Chile’s natural beauty, all made using discarded plastic waste.

These locations hold more significance than just being visually stunning; they embody Chile’s cultural and natural heritage, forging a profound connection between these invaluable treasures and the unprecedented crisis at hand.
