The Hen House is a women-centric all-inclusive breakfast restaurant where you could feel equally at home in heels as you would in a sweat-suit. Both friend-worthy meetup spot post to IG and a place to be left alone.
Hen House’s brand positioning and design needed to strike a balance and strike a very specific tone that resonates in today’s culture. It’s a tone that is female forward but doesn’t take itself too seriously, it has an edginess, but it’s in the name of fun and with just a hint of an empowerment theme.
Our straight forward, but elegant logo design created a good juxtaposition against foundational language and served to help elevate other messaging that was more light-hearted.
Through our strategy consultation workshops we collaborated with the Empress team and created a comprehensive set of guidelines, a restaurant interior design look book, brand narrative, tag-lines, merchandise, digital design assets and photographic style.
