Binti Box by Cubic Orange

Binti Box offers special menstrual health products for women in Kenya, especially those who don’t have easy access to these essentials. The project understands the importance of education and how not having menstrual care can be a barrier.

The design system is warm, optimistic, and inclusive, with custom-made, bold letters that carry a feminine touch. Colors like pink and purple, symbolic of the project’s origins, were refreshed to reflect vibrant African heritage patterns and colors. The visual identity, centered around a unique T-shaped pad design, has been extended to include distinctive female character illustrations, which, when paired with compelling testimonials, personify confidence, freedom, and comfort.

Furthermore, to emphasize menstruation as a natural process, a playful sticker set was designed. This not only encourages Kenyan women to embrace their bodies but also resonates with their day-to-day lives, making the brand’s message more relatable and impactful.
