“Five views of Cartuja” is a collection of posters and supporting ad materials created by award-winning design studio AL ALIMÓN. This project celebrates the architectural and archaeological heritage of Cartuja university campus, which belongs to Universidad de Granada (Spain). In this place there are several cultural landmarks that remain unknown to many students and visitors of the city. Universidad de Granada wanted to shine a light on the importance of this area. AL ALIMÓN used design as a strategy to value and promote cultural heritage, celebrating its richness through a fresh and contemporary visual style. The studio chose to develop a series of illustrations of the most important landmarks of the campus: Monasterio de Cartuja, Colegio Máximo, Templete Jesuita, Alfar Romano and Observatorio Astronómico in a minimal and playful visual language. The main goal was to generate a graphic system capable of connecting with the youngest population of the city.
